We are offering two one-topic workshops in May. Each interactive workshop is 60 minutes long and the fee for each is $30.
Wednesday, May 15 at 7:30 PM – Take Me Out to the Dog Park: Playing it Safe Off-Leash (humans only)
Sometimes it can feel scary to let your dog run free in the park. At this workshop you will learn to identify the signals of good play between dogs. We will also discuss how to prepare your dog for safe play in advance, how to intervene before a fight happens, and what to do if a fight happens while you are at the dog park.
Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 PM – Waiting for Good Dog: Impulse Control for Dogs (dogs and humans should attend together)
Good impulse control in dogs makes it easier to take your dog places, and can lead to very impressive party tricks. We will learn several games to increase your dog’s impulse control. Your dog will love these games, and you will love having a more manageable pet. Dogs will be on leash at all times during this workshop.
